Glass Awards : Then and Now

Three green glass awards with unique designs on them

When we started Pinnacle 20 yrs back no one was using glass at that time to make trophies in India. Primarily people mainly used wood, metal & acrylic. When we introduced glass, we met with a lot of skepticism but once when people saw what we could do with glass & more importantly how it never tarnished or lost shine, it became one of the preferred options. Cutting, polishing glass, & engraving awards text on different award shapes was not an easy task, & only few select craftspeople could do it.

It’s never easy to bring up change. There were so many times when Nidhi Jain Seth (Founder of Pinnacle) questioned herself if she had done the right thing by investing in all the machinery to make Glass Awards & etch every detail on it perfectly.

But she loved the way the trophies looked & felt, so she just continued. And we are glad we did, for one thing led to another. It’s now our culture at Pinnacle to work with new materials & create fresh & innovative awards. Awards that stand out of the ordinary & the winners feel special.

This Ride the tide Award was one of the first ones we designed with no base, just two pieces of triangle glass coming together.

Love the dynamism, the movement of this shape. Even though we introduced it ten years back, we still get orders for this design.
