Is Recognition Industry Dead? Pinnacle Works

The deeper question to understand is…..

What is recognition? This is the first video in that series.

Over the years I have seen recognition being confused with a whole lot of things.

Video Transcript

Hi Everyone ! This is a Nidhi from Pinnacle Works and this is a series where I talk about merchandise and recognition and today I’d like to talk about one of my favorite topic which is….Ummm

Before I talk about the topic you know not a single management  program or a book which talks about growth, business development and everything goes without talking about the importance of recognition. How important it is to appreciate the people who work with us? Have that  human bond have that connect and yet ?

So many people so so so many people they tell me Nidhi ….What kind of an industry are you running , Hey Nobody buys awards anymore . They don’t need awards anymore …You know what this is the old system.

We give gift vouchers , we are running an incentive program, we don’t even give Certificates anymore. I think you are a part of a dying industry. Hmmm.

So becomes very interesting for me to say that ohh recognition is important but recognition industry is dead like Really ? I don’t get it but anyways ….I love recognition and I love to create products and awards  which people can buy . Because as per me the human connect the human bond, the fact that somebody comes up and tell you ..

Hey Buddy you did a great work  ! You go on that stage and you are applauded in front of thousands or hundreds of people or even 50 people and you get a small award a recognition, a token of recognition for a great work you have job.. Then nobody can take the value of that away. And that is why as per me Recognition is here to come, here to stay and so are we ! Thank you…
