Real Recognition vs Online Reward Platforms

Hi Everybody !

This is Nidhi from Pinnacle Works !

And today I want to talk about a very very interesting debatable hot topic about Real Recognition vs Online Reward and Recognition Platforms.

You know in 2000 when I started the business I think there was hardly any company in India

who is doing online reward and recognition programs like ,they had an online platform where you did something good, you get points for it ..Instead of saying, “Ohh!

 Thank you buddy . You did a brilliant job” You say that, but you also have an online program, give points and people could collect the points, redeem the points for something. That is what I , sort of referring to as Online Reward and Recognition Platform .

Maybe in 2000 I’m saying  this on camera, but maybe at that time, there were softwares available. but none was really widely available, Or at least, I knew of.

 And in the past 20 years almost I have seen a lot of companies go, a lot of companies fold – up, a lot of companies see tremendous amount of growth.

A lot of our customers, implementing that kind of a reward and recognition, and then giving it up because it is not working for them.

Because people are not going online, giving the points and they are finding everything too Artificial.

So this is one question that I get asked a lot a lot. Do they work ? Which one is good?  What do you really need ?

So this is my video series for that. Again as a word of caution what you will hear from me may not be intellectually, sort of the right thing to say.

 It may not come out of years of research . Uhh…But, what it is coming from is a person who is not providing the service,  has nothing to do with it.

But you have the real insider view of the whole system. Uhh I have seen, sometimes and I think I am not here debating whether it is the right thing to do or not.

 Maybe it is, because you know you have to manage hundreds and thousands and thousands of people across multiple locations.

 What are you going to do ? But, I think the difference is not about,  whether it’s the right thing to do or not?

But the difference is. How? What should you really do? How should you implement it  so that it becomes the right thing and also, Is that the only thing?

If you implement the online reward program and your recognition will be done?

 So just select a vendor, he implements the software,  and you put the fulfillment in place Is that all ?  Well not really !
