Such a big event, and all we managed to capture were two pictures… That’s right, just two. This wasn’t just any event, it was our first show at TechHR in Singapore, organized by the fantastic People Matters team from India, and held at the stunning Marina Bay Sands Convention Center.

The venue was breathtaking, the conference was enlightening, but what really made the event special were the visitors to our booth. Hearing them praise our work, telling us how unique and impactful it was, filled us with an indescribable sense of pride and joy.

In the excitement of the moment, we completely forgot to take pictures of the people who visited our booth, the people who told us how much they loved our awards, and how different we were from anything else they’d seen. In hindsight, we should have been more mindful of capturing these moments. After all, this was our first event in Singapore, and these memories are priceless.

The amount of work that went into preparing for the show was immense. Packing and unpacking countless samples, coordinating with different people, all to ensure that when visitors walked up to our booth, they would have an unforgettable experience.

International events are a different beast compared to those in India. Back home, we have a whole team to help with the packing and unpacking. But when you’re overseas, you’re on your own. And you know what? I wouldn’t have it any other way. Doing everything ourselves gave us a greater appreciation for the work that goes into pulling off an event like this. It’s similar to the way hotels operate, where even if you work in one department, you spend time doing every type of work. It helps you build a deeper understanding and appreciation for the work that others do.

Despite the challenges, the long hours, and the fact that we only have two pictures to show for it, this event was a milestone for us. And we wouldn’t trade the experience for anything in the world.
